Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath extended heartfelt greetings to devotees on the commencement of the Jagannath Rath Yatra, praying for peace, prosperity, good health and harmony for all.
In a message shared on social media, the Chief Minister described the annual Rath Yatra of Lord Jagannath as a sacred symbol of Sanatan culture, social harmony and public welfare. He conveyed his best wishes to devotees participating in the revered festival celebrated across the country.
“Heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to all devotees on the commencement of the Rath Yatra of Mahaprabhu Shri Jagannath Ji, a sacred symbol of the profound faith of Sanatan culture, social harmony and the welfare of humanity,” the Chief Minister said.
Yogi Adityanath prayed that the blessings of Lord Jagannath, Lord Balabhadra and Devi Subhadra continue to shower upon the entire world. He expressed hope that every individual is blessed with happiness, peace, prosperity and good health.
The Jagannath Rath Yatra is one of Hinduism’s most significant religious festivals, celebrated with great devotion and enthusiasm. The procession symbolises faith, unity and spiritual awakening, drawing thousands of devotees who participate in the ceremonial chariot procession and seek the blessings of the deities.
Concluding his message, the Chief Minister greeted devotees with “Jai Jagannath”, invoking divine blessings for the well-being of all.
